Startklar Solo, 99 SEK

Startklar Solo is a cancellation insurance. Accident insurance is not included. Valid for registration to Malmö Marathon.

      Cancellation Insurance

• You receive a refund of the registration fee in the event of acute illness, injury due to an accident, or pregnancy*
• The insurance also covers cases of serious illness or accident involving a close relative*
• You are also eligible for compensation for the registration fee in the event of damage to your home, such as fire or burglary
• Maximum coverage of 3 000 SEK
• If you compete in a team, you will be refunded your portion of the registration fee.
• No deductible
• The insurance is valid up until the start of the relevant event

        *Must be supported by a medical certificate or equivalent document

Startklar, 155 SEK

Startklar is both a cancellation and accident insurance. Valid for registration to Malmö Marathon and all other races in Sweden for 12 months.  

       Cancellation Insurance

• You receive a refund of the registration fee in the event of acute illness, injury due to an accident, or pregnancy*
• The insurance also applies in cases of serious illness or accident involving a close relative*
• You will also be compensated for the registration fee if damage occurs to your home, such as fire or burglary
• Maximum coverage of 3 000 SEK per event and a total of 5,000 SEK per year
• If you compete in a team, you will be refunded your portion of the registration fee
• No deductible 
• The insurance is valid util the start of the relevant event

        Accident Insurance

        The insurance is valid during travel to/from and throughout the event

• Emergency expenses, such as costs for medical care, medication, and travel to/from care and treatment
• Other travel during the acute period, such as trips between home and regular workplace if prescribed by a doctor
• Hospital care for expenses exceeding saved living costs
• Dental injuries, necessary costs within 5 years (up to 1 price base amount)
• Medical disability - up to 15 price base amounts (once insured turns 65, the amount is reduced by 50%)
• Death - 1 price base amount*

        *The price base amount is 58,800 SEK for the year 2025.

Write Startklar in the subject line if you email and attach the receipt of your registration along with a medical certificate confirming the reason you cannot participate.

HDI Global Specialty SE is the insurer through Svedea AB and the insurance is administered by Försäkringskompetens in Uppsala AB.
